Violence and Drugs Only
I wrote in a previous post about a rapper/hip hop artist who calls himself Vado and the fun I was having with the confusion. Yes, more than one person has emailed me and asked me if I was somehow related or associated with this guy.
At the time I did not think anything of it. Vado, in Spanish, means to ford (as in across a river) moving forward against a current. I figured this was somehow the genesis of the artist (whose actual name is Teeyon Winfree) name choice.
Today someone pointed out that VADO is actually an acronym for Violence and Drugs Only.
So, not sure what THAT means, but yeah, just for the record, I am not associated with this guy.

I wonder how they found you, to think you were somehow casually related, without an interest in comics or comic publishing.
On top of that, if they have such interests, they should be e-mailing the other guy asking if he's related to you in some way.

once the Vado shipped from Creative, it pushed me down to #2 on the hit parade.I keep getting lower and lower every year.
However, most of the confusion seems to come from Facebook, where most of the really weird messages come from.
