Rule #1 about betting - Never shoot your mouth off around Saints Fans
The video below shows you what happens when you make stupid bets in the south, especially one that involves football and guns. To summarize a man with a 60 inch TV (and too much to drink no doubt) bet his friends during the December 6 Redskins/Saints NFL game that, should the Redskins blow what looked like then a sure lead and lose, they could all shoot his big screen TV.
The video illustrates a point about not making a bet when you are drunk, but goes way beyond that and makes you wonder what any of these people were thinking when they a) decided to shoot up this dude's TV and b) put the video on Youtube. It also reminds you to watch what you say to a Saint's fan and maybe just to stay the hell out of certain parts of Louisiana altogether.
You have to wonder what the guy who put the football helmet and rammed his head into the shot up television was thinking/drinking. Had they ended this thing at the firing squad it would have been funny. As is, it is a little unsettling.
And, just so you know, I have no problem with people owning guns or even shooting them off in a rural setting like this one. My trouble is the mix of guns and alchohol. Not good.
