Yeah, this will sell a lot of holes

Imagine me in my full-on Walter Sobcek glory when I ask "HAS THE WHOLE WORLD GONE CRAZY!" I came across this little gem on YOUTUBE today, it's an ad for fast-food chain Hardee's for a product called a Biscuit Hole. People are asked to choose between a donut hole and a Biscuit Hole, the two products are labelled A Hole and B hole. I think you know where this is headed.

Okay, so this is kind of funny, but is it really going to sell anything? Is someone saying "This A-Hole tastes funny!" really a good sales pitch? Not that I am offended, but really did they go to a middle school to develop this campaign.

This was nowhere near as bad as the new Microsoft commercial which touts their new browser by showing a woman so disgusted with what her husband is looking at on the internet that she projectile vomits, causing the husband to slip and fall. Vomit AND a pratfall. I guess Microsoft knows who it's audience is or who they would like to target (closet perverts who like to look at disgusting websites while sitting right next to their signifiant others. Hey, wait a second...) but man, why be so blatant about it? Is this what Microsoft really thinks of its customers?

All I know is this; I am most certainly in the wrong business.
