The Inspiration for Lost came from Giiligan's Island

I didn't think this up on my own, but as with all cool ideas I wish I did. I was preparing a long comparison between Lost and the 1933 novel Lost Horizon, and yet here I am confronted with undeniable proof that the ACTUAL inspiration for Lost came from Gilligan's Island.

Here I was all set to post my essay on how the inspiration for Lost came from Lost Horizon, a 1933 novel by James Hilton when instead it came from the trials and tribulations of everyone's favorite little buddy.

Seriously, while this is nowhere near as cool as the Vader Chronicles, which I think is one of the neatest things on Youtube, it's right up there.
